If there was no water, there would be no life. We look for water on other planets in our solar system, but sometimes we don’t appreciate the water that literally flows right under our noses. Kolačanský Creek is one of two water sources of Nová Dubnica. However, both creeks flowing through the city have major problems with pollution and over-use for garden irrigation. Their water levels have had record lows. Will this city lose its only two watercourses in a few years? It’s important to draw attention to this problem!
